Israel visa for Chilean citizens

Chilean citizens planning a visit to Israel will soon require an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) prior to their journey. This streamlined electronic process, simplifying what previously might have involved a more traditional visa application, permits a maximum stay of 90 days, allowing ample time to explore. Despite the significant 13,000-kilometer distance separating Santiago from Tel Aviv, often necessitating connecting flights through Europe, the ETA is designed to ease travel between these two distinct nations. While two tourist visa types are technically available, the new ETA will be the standard for most short-term leisure travelers from Chile, making the intercontinental trip to Israel's unique historical and cultural sites more accessible.
